FAQ

Can I get a free Trial?

TechSuite
You bet! We offer a 14 day free trial for TechSuite.

Kabuto
You bet! Kabuto starts off as free and you’re welcome to stay on that plan as long as you like. For 30 days after signup, you’ll also have access to free trials of Custom Branding along with Monitoring and Managed AV.

What is your pricing like?

TechSuite
TechSuite comes in three plans: Basic, Plus, Pro. For a detailed comparison, please see our pricing page.

Kabuto
Kabuto pricing has two parts. The Base plan is the number of devices you’re allowed to have; those base plans are Free (50 devices), Growth (250 devices), Elite (500 devices) and Enterprise (Unlimited devices). These base plans are billed on a yearly basis. Each device also has Upgrades that can be turned on/off individually, these are billed monthly.  For more details, please see our pricing page.

What is Repair Consultation and Customized Training Materials (as seen on TechSuite Pricing Page)?

Repair Process Consultation
We work with you to understand your organization’s goals and ensure that TechSuite is implemented in your organization so that you get the biggest return on your investment. This may include assisting you in creating your Presets, Custom Apps, and discussing best practices for your shop.

Customized Training Materials
After your Repair Process Consultation, we’ll work with your team to create customized training videos that detail exactly how you want your technicians to use TechSuite. You can provide this to them in order to get new techs up to speed, and to quickly deploy TechSuite throughout your organization.

What happens when my trial ends?

TechSuite
After trying our TechSuite, your account will only be billed if you have entered your credit card information. If you have, you will be placed on the plan that you selected when signing up and billed once your trial ends. You can cancel at any time of course.

Kabuto
Kabuto’s trials are for the Upgrades, not the base plans. Once your Upgrades trial ends, device with Monitoring or Managed AV applied will be tallied and billed. If there is no card on the account at that time, those upgrades will be turned off for those devices.

How are Upgrades billed?

Kabuto
All upgrades are billed using a prorating structure. That means, if a device has monitoring enabled on the 15th of January, we don’t send a bill for that device on that day. We will keep track of the number of days (15 out of 30 in this case) that device had Monitoring enabled and bill for that amount the following billing date. Your billing date would be the day of the month that you signed up for Kabuto.

Are you HIPAA Compliant or PCI-Compliant?

We do not store any credit card information on our servers. Instead we use Stripe for all payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.

RepairTech takes security very seriously, but is not compliant with the HIPAA standards for privacy. For this reason, we don’t advise storing any medical records of any kind on your Kabuto Online Dashboard.

I didn’t see my question here, what can I do?
