RepairTech may, at its discretion, provide updates, bug fixes, or new features. Updates may be required for continued use. RepairTech may also modify or discontinue features at any time.
5. User Responsibilities and Limitations of Use
You are solely responsible for how you use TechSuite, including but not limited to:
-
Tool Execution
RepairTech is not responsible for the outcomes of running TechSuite tools on customer machines. You are responsible for interpreting results and deciding which actions to take. -
Custom Tools
If you create, upload, or run Custom Tools within TechSuite, you are solely responsible for their licensing, legality, configuration, and effects. RepairTech does not review, validate, or support Custom Tools. Do not create or upload a Custom Tool that harms a computer, steals information, or hides what it does. We may remove any Custom Tool at any time. -
Third-Party Software
Some TechSuite tools may interact with third-party software or operating system features. RepairTech is not liable for the behavior of third-party components. -
Customer Data
You are responsible for any personal or sensitive data accessed or affected while using TechSuite on customer systems. For information about your customers that appears in your reports, you decide how it is used and we handle it on your behalf. You are also responsible for having any permission the law requires to collect it. RepairTech does not control or retain customer content outside the scope of TechSuite. -
System Environment
TechSuite results may vary depending on the hardware, operating system, or software environment. You must verify the applicability and accuracy of results in your specific context. -
Backups
You are responsible for ensuring proper backups before running TechSuite. RepairTech is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or downtime. -
Authorized Use Only
You must only use TechSuite on systems you are authorized to service. TechSuite must not be used for malicious, offensive, or unlawful purposes. -
Scheduled Runs Through Lantern
If you use TechSuite with Lantern, TechSuite may run on your customers’ Windows computers on a schedule you set, with administrator rights and with no one present. Each run counts as your own use of TechSuite, and this Section 5 applies to it. Get your customer’s permission before you schedule runs, and make sure backups exist. If the Lantern Terms of Service also apply to a run, our total liability for that run under both is capped at the greater of what you paid us for TechSuite and Lantern in the 12 months before the event, or $25. -
AI Summaries
If you turn on AI summaries, TechSuite sends the report’s title, the customer and ticket labels and notes you typed, and the computer details in the report to an AI model hosted on Amazon Web Services. AI summaries can be wrong. Check each one before you send it to a customer or rely on it. -
Compliance
You are responsible for compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA and financial regulations) when using TechSuite in sensitive environments. RepairTech does not certify TechSuite for regulated use.

- Failed payments. If a payment fails, RepairTech may suspend your access until it is paid.
- Taxes. Fees do not include taxes. You are responsible for any that apply to you.
- Refunds. RepairTech does not refund fees, but may give a refund in a particular case, at its discretion.
- Changes. RepairTech may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice, typically via email or in-app notification. RepairTech may change this agreement at any time by posting the new version. If you keep using TechSuite after that, you accept the change.
