We can hardly believe it, but it’s already been a year since we launched last October 30th. Since then, both our products and our company have come a long way. We’ve had many late nights, developed great new partnerships, and received tons of insightful feedback from our users. All of these experiences have helped us advance in our mission to create powerful solutions for IT professionals. To celebrate our 1 year anniversary, we’re excited to announce that we’ve released the next generation of our computer repair software:
TechUSB 2.0 – A Full-Fledged Computer Repair Operating System
TechUSB version 2.0 moves into a full-fledged computer repair operating system based on Debian-Knoppix, a security distribution of Linux. This change means that TechUSB has dramatically more compatibility and functionality. Version 2.0 introduces a number of new features, from a web browser and registry editor, to tools like GParted built right in. TechUSB boots on everything, meaning you have greater freedom than ever before to fix computers quickly, efficiently and correctly – the first time.
TechUSB Automator
What was previously TechUSB is now an application called “TechUSB Automator” within a full-fledged OS. We’ve fixed bugs, increased compatibility, and added functionality, while keeping the same one-click solution.
Pre-Installed Applications
TechUSB 2.0 comes with a ton of useful applications pre-installed. It has a web browser, file browser, registry editor, system benchmarks, hard drive utilities, networking solutions and more. Don’t see what you need? You can install any Debian-compatible application you want.
Custom Branding
It’s easy to fully customize everything from the desktop wallpaper and screensaver to branding within TechUSB Automator. Using TechUSB’s persistence functionality, you can save your changes to the USB drive, or install it straight to a hard drive for network booting or as a computer repair workstation.
Unlimited Potential

TechWARU 1.2.0 Introduces a Whole New User Experience
TechWARU, Simplified.
TechWARU version 1.2.0 features a brand new user interface designed for simplicity and usability. We’ve changed the tools page to make it easier to find and add tools to a queue, and descriptions to help you figure out what you need to run.
