Release Notes – Windows 11 Support, Driver Updates, and MFA

We’re continuing to modernize TechSuite and ship the quality-of-life improvements many of you have been asking for. This update includes new OS support controls, a powerful driver maintenance tool, and an important security upgrade to the TechSuite Online Dashboard.

✅ Windows 11 Checkbox for Custom Apps

You can now explicitly mark Custom Apps as compatible with Windows 11 in the TechSuite Windows App.

Previously, Windows 10 compatibility automatically implied Windows 11 support, which wasn’t always accurate. With this change, you have clearer control and can reflect the actual OS requirements of your apps.

You’ll see the new checkbox when creating or editing any Custom App. Any existing Custom Apps have the Windows 11 checkbox enabled by default to prevent any disruptions to your existing Procedures.

🔧 New Maintenance Tool: Snappy Driver Installer Origin

We’ve added Snappy Driver Installer Origin to the Maintenance category.

This tool automatically finds and installs updated drivers for the machine you’re working on. It’s an easy way to handle one of the more tedious parts of repair workflows and helps ensure the system is running on the most stable and secure driver versions available.

🔐 Multi-Factor Authentication for the Online Dashboard

MFA is now live on the TechSuite Online Dashboard.

You can enable MFA for your own account in Settings, and account admins can now require MFA for all Technicians. This has been a long-requested improvement, and last week’s infrastructure modernization cleared the path for us to finally get it done.

TechSuite supports standard TOTP codes from apps like Authy, Google Authenticator, 1Password, and others.

We strongly recommend turning MFA on for all users.
